What we Believe
About Jesus
Jesus was born of a virgin, lived and loved the world He was born into, and continues to love the world today. Being fully God and fully human, Jesus as a person has no beginning and no end. He was crucified for the sin of humanity, rose on the third day, and has ascended to the right hand of God. He will return some day to claim those who are His.
About the Holy Spirit
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
About Humanity
Humanity, from the creation of the world, has had a sin problem. This is defined not by behavior but by the condition of one’s heart. Living a life done your way, and not God’s, is what humanity needs corrected. To be made right with God, humanity has to recognize both the problem and the solution.
About Holiness
Holiness doesn’t start or end with the measuring stick of behaviors. We can fool most of the people most of the time. Rather, holiness is measured by the consistent change in the heart. Yes, what’s in the heart will eventually dictate behaviors. Holiness is the meeting point of those two things: the heart, which is unseen; and one’s attitudes and actions, which are.
About Salvation
That solution is Jesus. Salvation-the state of being in right standing with God-is accomplished as one “openly declare(s) that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.” Romans 10:9-10, NLT
About Unity
The Church of God Reformation Movement is all about unity. Scripture teaches that there is one church, and that church stands on and under the authority of that Scripture. We are but a neighborhood within that church.
